AC Report Approved after Reconsidered Registration-Fee Vote

byFaith reports that the Administrative Committee presented its report and that the Assembly approved all recommendations. Item 16, concerning equal GA registration fees for teaching and ruling elders, initially failed, was reconsidered, and then was approved. The Assembly also honored RE John Bise for his service as provisional stated clerk.

The Assembly acts on proposed 2027 budgets submitted by all Committees and Agencies. The AC's own audited financials show total assets of $3.4 million and net assets of $2.9 million, of which $2.0 million is unrestricted — a year-over-year increase of $878,731 driven by market performance, church giving, and two large individual gifts.

Future General Assembly locations: 54th GA in Milwaukee, WI (2027, hosted by Wisconsin, Chicago Metro, Korean Central, and Northern Illinois Presbyteries); 55th GA in Dallas, TX (2028); 56th GA in Orlando, FL (2029). Approximately half of all PCA churches do not contribute to any denominational support — the AC continues outreach to broaden participation.
