Covenant College Report Presented; Recommendations Approved
byFaith reports that Covenant College presented its report to the Assembly and that the Assembly approved all recommendations from the committee.
The college continues its mission to 'explore and express the preeminence of Jesus Christ in all things' through Reformed liberal arts education. The Board of Trustees presents six unanimously recommended trustee candidates for the Class of 2030: Thomas Groelsema (Central Carolina), Bradley Harris (Covenant), Michael Livingston (Nashville), John Marino (Hills & Plains), Don Mellott (Pacific Northwest), and Stephen Rowe (Hills and Plains).
The 2024-2025 academic year is described as one of God's blessing and provision. Covenant occupies a unique position in the PCA: the denomination's only four-year liberal arts college, equipping covenant children and others for lives lived under the Lordship of Christ.
