Ridge Haven Report Presented; Recommendations Approved
byFaith reports that Ridge Haven presented its report to the Assembly and that the Assembly approved all recommendations presented.
An ice storm in early 2026 caused over $100,000 in campus damage, and a snowstorm forced postponements. Despite these setbacks, the public phase of an $8 million Capital Campaign is underway, with lead gifts committed for nine new camper and family cabins, a second lake, and a summit chapel — all expected for the coming summer season.
The broader campaign envisions a 'camp within a camp' expansion: a dozen additional cabins, a multi-purpose dining and meeting hall, an adult lodge, staff housing, and a sewer system at Cono. Growing presbytery-level demand — some presbyteries bringing 500+ youth at once — makes the expansion both necessary and urgent.
